What the marks mean. An X applies to the specific item, selected tier or pricing basis; a dash is an unknown. The website entry shows our $699 total platform-plus-website option. See the evidence behind the X marks.

Compare the full price. MyCase Pro is $120/user/month on monthly billing or $100/user/month billed annually. Juris, Clio Elite and Smokeball Prosper+ require quotes. Clio’s $49/user starting price is an entry tier, not the Elite plan compared here.

Put your team in the picture

Compare the subscription math.

Adjust staff count and billing basis. Setup stays visible in the first-year total. This is a price illustration, not a claim of identical features.

MyCase Pro

$1,200per month, monthly billing

First-year subscription
$14,400

Juris, Clio Elite and Smokeball Prosper+: request comparable written quotes. Annual MyCase pricing requires annual payment. Totals exclude taxes, usage, processing, provider subscriptions, migration extras and paid add-ons; no annual discount is assumed for DocketPeak. The managed website service is an additional DocketPeak scope.

Why these comparison cells have an X
  • 10 staff in one firm subscription price

Clio licenses and Smokeball terms specify per-user licensing; MyCase publishes per-user prices.

    Source 1 ↗ · Source 2 ↗ · Source 3 ↗
  • Published price for the compared package

The current Clio Elite and Smokeball Prosper+ pages request a quote rather than publishing a tier price. Their other tiers and negotiated quotes may differ. Juris directs buyers to Get Pricing without publishing a package amount.

    Source 1 ↗ · Source 2 ↗ · Source 3 ↗
  • Browser workspace; no required native install

Smokeball states that Grow and Prosper+ users must install its native desktop app. This does not say Smokeball has no web app; Bill and Boost have different requirements. Juris requires Windows workstations and a Windows/SQL Server environment; its hosted option uses third-party Terminal Server/RDS.

    Source 1 ↗ · Source 2 ↗
  • Managed website build and monthly content edits

Clio Elite lists a website builder, rather than the DocketPeak managed five-page build and monthly editing scope. 8am Website Services is a separately ordered, separately billed service for MyCase customers.

Pricing, launch scope and service notes
  1. The DocketPeak column describes the full planned launch package, including the features previously shown as rolling out. It is a forward-looking launch scope, not a claim that every provider integration is active today. Availability and provider connections are confirmed before activation.
  2. A check means the listed capability is included in the described scope. An X applies only to the exact item, selected tier or pricing basis, not the vendor as a whole. A dash means the exact capability or inclusion was not publicly confirmed; it is not evidence of absence. Plus indicates a separate product, tier or paid service.
  3. The selected competitor tiers combine billing with intake or lead management and are not identical products. Published-price X marks mean a comparable tier price is quote-only. The ten-staff pricing row compares a firm bundle with per-user licensing; negotiated offers can differ.
  4. DocketPeak Practice: $499/firm/month plus $1,995 setup. Ten staff users included; each additional staff user is $29/month. Configuration and training are covered by setup. Phone/SMS/email/AI usage, provider subscriptions, payment fees, taxes, domain renewals, business email, SEO, advertising and custom development are separate.
  5. DocketPeak + Website: $699/firm/month plus $4,495 combined setup. Five pages using firm-supplied content, two revision rounds, hosting and up to 30 minutes of minor content edits monthly. Extra pages and custom funnel builds are quoted separately. The $699 option is the total platform-plus-website package price, not an extra $699 charge.
  6. Legal AI entries refer to provider connections, not an included research subscription or unlimited model usage. Research, citation and contract-review capabilities depend on the connected provider. Provider terms, pricing, activation and the final connection scope must be confirmed before use; attorney review is required.
  7. Retainer records are billing ledgers. CSV presets suggest mappings for supported records; validate a sample and reconcile with the original export. Historical invoices and payments, original document files and permissions need separate migration planning. Filing portal links are not direct e-filing services.
  8. Support includes private tickets, visible progress, resolution history and optional customer-approved screen sharing. Screen sharing is view-only, with no remote control or DocketPeak recording. Compatibility depends on the browser and network. No response-time or uptime guarantee is made here.
  9. Simple design and ease of use describe DocketPeak design goals and workflows, not a tested usability ranking. Fast, request-led rollout describes a focused request, development, validation and release process, not a fixed turnaround guarantee or a promise that every requested feature will be built. Core platform improvements do not include separately priced provider services.
  10. MyCase Pro is $120/user/month monthly or $100/user/month billed annually: $1,200/month or $12,000/year for ten users. Its Case Assistant is in Advanced; separate AI app integrations may be available. Clio Elite and Smokeball Prosper+ require quotes. Clio has a website builder; MyCase website services have separate fees. Smokeball Grow/Prosper+ require a native desktop installation even though web access is also available.
  11. Sources are current official US pages reviewed October 20, 2026. Prices and features may change. Promotions, negotiated quotes, taxes and variable fees are excluded. Juris, Clio, MyCase and Smokeball names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only; no affiliation or endorsement is implied.
  12. Juris is the LexisNexis time, billing and financial management product. Juris Suite modules are add-ons. Juris package and setup amounts require a quote; the precise 10-user commercial pricing basis is not publicly confirmed. Juris uses “retainer” for earned fee billing and separately tracks prepaid balances. The retainer row refers to prepaid / billing activity. Bill design supports logo placement; exact footer scope should be confirmed. A dash does not mean Juris lacks a feature.
